  1. This piece of Renaissance art is interesting. I see humanism in this piece because it shows the naked human body. They thought the human body was beautiful, it was a value of the renaissance. It was important to them.

  3. There are so many values of Renaissance art in this piece by Sandro Botticelli. Individualism is used with all the different characters doing different things and all of them having a distinct uniqueness to them. It also shows humanism, the value and beauty of the human body. This piece also contains loads of detail in the wind blowing their cloths, hair, flowers, and even the detail of ripples in the water, which makes the piece much more interesting than a piece with little detail and no depth.

  4. This piece displays several renaissance values. First, it displays secularism in not being tied to the Christian church but rather illustrating a scene from Greek mythology. Next, the characters' bodies, paricularly Venus's, display a love of the human form in being detailed, beautiful and accurate. Finally Boticelli's artistic skill and attention to detail show how dedicated he was to being the best painter he could, he was obviously and individualist. Individualism is also seen in the several unique and realistic characters.
